1. How do I get involved with a mission project?
Getting involved is simple – just visit the home page of sportsmissions.com. There you will see the interactive world map and search engine. Use the options on the search engine to find a place of service depending on sport, location, time, etc. Once you find a project that interests you, follow the instructions on the project information page to start the application process. 2. What are the requirements in joining a sports mission project?
Since several organizations and missionaries post projects on sportsmissions.com, you will discover that requirements are different on many projects. 3. I’m not very good at sports. Can I still participate on a sports mission project?
For most projects…YES! The only requirement is that you possess a heart for people and a love for Christ. Some of the projects are more competitive, so obviously more experience is needed for those teams. There is a project for every level of athletic ability. Although these projects are sports-related, individuals with other skills and gifts are needed on these teams, including worship leaders, photographers, prayer warriors, teachers/preachers, coaches, etc. [Back to Top]

5. Can I receive college credit for working at International Sports Federation?
Yes, quite possibly. The International Sports Federation has helped several college students earn college credit for internships, both stateside and overseas. 6. Are there any job openings at International Sports Federation?
There are currently no salaried positions at International Sports Federation. Due to the fact that ISF is a faith-based ministry, all of employees are expected to raise their own financial support. 14. Will I receive training prior to my mission project if I sign up?
Most of the sending organizations provide training for volunteers before overseas service. If you join a SportsPlus team, you will participate in a 2-day training camp to prepare you for your project. You will need to contact the sending organization to discover what training is provided for the project you are interested in. [Back to Top]

17. I want to serve on an international missions project. What documents will I need to travel?
If you are going out of the country, you MUST obtain a valid, current passport. In addition, many countries require a visa in order to enter the country. Visas must be obtained prior to your travel.
